Prof. Silvia Rossi is Associate Professor in Computer Science and co-head of the PRISCA Lab. She received the M.Sc. degree in Physics from University of Naples Federico II, Italy, in 2001, and the Ph.D. in Information and Communication Technologies from the University of Trento, Italy, in 2006. She is Associate Editor for IEEE Robotics and Automation Letters (RA-L), the International Journal of Social Robotics and for Intelligent Service Robotics journal. She is the general chair of RO-MAN 2020 and RO-MAN 2022, Program Chair of ICSR 2020, Workshop/Tutorial co-Chair of HRI 2019. Prof. Rossi has been involved in several EU and non-EU projects. She is currently principal investigator and coordinator of the MSCA-ITN-2020 PERSEO (European Training Network on Personalized Robotics as Service Oriented applications) and of the national project BRILLO – Bartending Robot for Interactive Long-Lasting Operations (2019-2022). She was the Principal Investigator of UPA4SAR (User-centred Profiling and Adaptation for Socially Assistive Robotics), founded by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research (2017-2020); Scientific Coordinator of the national project AVATEA – Advanced Virtual Adaptive Technologies for e-hEAlth (2019-2020).
